My Solo Photography Adventure as a Female Photographer in Ubud, Bali (Indonesia)

If you’ve been following my YouTube Channel, you may know that I’m now based in Bali, Indonesia. However, I won’t be neglecting my current clients and everything I took years to build in London! So I’ll definitely keep visiting the big city for photoshoots once a year. Most likely, during the summer. For obvious reasons! 😅

In one of my videos, I explain the many reasons why I decided to move to this magical island. But one of them is the endless breathtaking photography locations I can travel to on this side of the world!

I was looking forward to documenting my photography adventures as a solo female traveller and above, you can already watch one of my latest photography vlogs!

GEAR I USED FOR THIS PHOTO:

I started my two-week adventure by staying in a secluded Bambu House in the middle of the jungle. And I have to admit, it was pretty scary at night. The sounds of Nature are music to my ears but also very loud and intimidating when sleeping alone! 😅

Then, I went exploring with my scooter and my camera bag to discover some of the most beautiful locations in North Ubud. The more North you go in Bali, the better it gets!

You can have a taste of some of the photos I took in this post. But I recommend you to watch the vlog not just to be amazed by the locations but also to learn more about how I captured the photos. And of course, to be immersed in an authentic Balinese experience as a photographer. 📸

GEAR I USED FOR THIS PHOTO:

I also managed to get some incredible drone footage of the most beautiful rice terraces during the morning light. And of course, I also had to capture some aerial photographs of this magical place!

What do you think? Comment below! I’m still a beginner with the drone but I think I did a pretty good job considering the anxiety I get every time I fly this little piece of gear! 😅

In the video, you’ll also see how I managed to take some of my self-portraits. I love taking my own travel photos!

I travel alone so I don’t have any other choice but to place my tripod and snap some shots till I manage to get some decent ones. I love the process though… That feeling you get when you edit the photos and see the end result!

IN SUMMARY

If you want to immerse yourself in the peaceful Balinese landscapes of North Ubud, watch the video and follow me in this photography adventure!
